Culinary Key West Adventures Continue!

When you visit Key West and stay on board one of our sailboats, we like to give you some input on the restaurants nearby around you as well as those just a short drive or taxi trip on the main arteries of Key West.  There are secret nooks and crannies in any town, USA where the locals find the “secret spots”.  This was one of them!  Grunts looks just like someone’s back yard next to a parking lot, 409 Caroline, Key West, Florida.  Thank you Teri Fainberg for inviting us to try something we have never even seen ourselves! AND – A Very  Special Thanks to Harvey Hirsch who encouraged us to get out and take culinary adventures.

Enjoy!

Thinking About A Tropical Wedding?

https://www.youtube.com/edit?video_id=1FnPABVEkrQ

It’s that time of year when “June Brides” comes to mind.  But how about a tropical wedding in Key West on a sailboat?  October-November-December can be some of the best weather Key West has to offer and the sunset colors? Amazing.  Honeymoon on your sailboat? Sure!  Since 1995 it’s been my pleasure to arrange those kind of precious memories.  And now I can be your captain and your minister plus order flowers, food, even have the most perfect nautical themed vows.  Custom arrangements and you tell me what you want.  Need help? just ask.

Enjoy the video !

Key West Sailing Adventure and Honeymoon at Sea Adventures

Monday and the storm has passed.  In general, we have quick moving storms that last sometimes minutes before a rainbow is out and sailing may have to wait a few hours or the next day.  Late last week and Saturday, I went sailing with no worries.  We tie up the boats in the event that the winds pick up but we are after all, in the sub tropical region.  Reefs are beautiful and productive this time of year too.  A recent honeymoon couple, Heather and Kurt went out to Boca Grande (not the one in West Florida, this is a bird sanctuary ten miles out at sea) and had a wonderful 24 hours exploring, swimming and snorkeling.  See how they enjoyed their trip:

Maybe you will get inspired to join us on another adventure; they saw a nurse shark, a bit of a wow! moment, but all was well.

Enjoy! plan a fall or winter trip soon.
